Fundraising Night to Support the Wheelchair Foundation

Tuesday Nov. 23, 2004

Souplantation Restaurant in Vista, California

Thanks to the efforts of SPAN 399/SPAN 599 students, the class was able to purchase two new wheelchairs, and received donations of two second-hand wheelchairs.  All four wheelchairs will be sent to disabled individuals in Latin America who are unable to afford one, and who otherwise would have severely-restricted mobility.
