The SoCal WCA will host its
Fifth Annual Tutors Conference
on Saturday, March 1 at MiraCosta College in Oceanside.
Conference details are forthcoming.
2007 Fall Meeting The SoCalWCA will hold its fall meeting at Saddleback College, in Mission Viejo. The meeting will be held on October 5 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Conference Complete!
The 2007 conference is now over, and was roundly proclaimed a great success by participating tutors and directors. Special thanks to Carol Haviland and Maggie Cecil at CSUSB, who put on a terrific program. Next year's conference is planned for North San Diego County, to be hosted by Cal State San Marcos and MiraCosta Community College. Watch this site for more details. Our next Directors' Meeting will be in October, at Saddleback Community College.

San Diego Area Meeting
Grossmont College and UCSD will co-host the Reading/Writing Center Round Table Discussion on March 17, 2006, at Grossmont College from 10:00-2:00. To reserve a spot and to help us plan for lunch, please email Cathy Harvey at Cathy.Harvey@gcccd.edu by March 8.

At the November meeting, Shareen announced that Sheryl Tschetter has resigned her post as Vice President of the SoCalWCA. A special election will be held to select a replacement. The floor is now open for nominations and/or volunteers; you may nominate yourself or others through the Yahoo Groups listserv, or at the next meeting. |
