Generally it is not necessary to get signed
releases for the creation and showing of student projects.
But, if you have intentions of making other uses, or even
think you might like to get your project on TV, YouTube, use
it as an example in a future course, then it would be a good
idea to get signed releases from all of the people and
commercial locations that appear in your finished product.
Here are some forms you may use for this purpose:
If a guest lecturer is visiting and you
wish to record his/her lecture, presentation, or performance
for future use, you should get them to sign one of these:
