NICPP also has a youth component where youth conduct DUI Checkpoint Operations with the local Sheriffs Department, decoy operations, radio audits, and risk assessments for the sale of marijuana paraphernalia at head shops. The program is funded by the County of San Diego and is considered a model program for primary prevention work.
