Generic/Basic BSN Program
For prospective students
who have not yet applied for admission to the
Generic/Basic BSN Program, the next opportunity to apply
will be Oct. 1 through Nov. 30, 2010 for entry in Fall 2011.
Our School of Nursing application period for entry in
Fall 2010 was between Oct. 1 - Nov. 30, 2009. We
do not expect to admit any students in Spring 2011 to
this program.
THIS IS AN IMPACTED PROGRAM
This program has been designated as "impacted"
by the CSU Chancellor's Office, meaning that we
receive more applications than spaces are available
in the program. The
2010-2011 Supplemental Admission Criteria
(or POINT SYSTEM)
has been created by which all applicants to the
2010-2011 programs will be evaluated and rank
ordered for admissions purposes. It is
advisable for all Pre-Nursing students to
read the Supplemental Admission Criteria above
and be working towards earning as many points as
possible. Admission to this program is highly
competitive.
