Faculty Biography:

Jule Gómez de García, Associate Professor, Co-Director Linguistics Program, Ph.D., 1994, University of Colorado-Boulder, Linguistics. Dr. Gómez de García joined the department in 2001. Her continuing research interests focus on the documentation and revitalization of endangered languages, involving application of linguistic research in the fields of first and second language acquisition, bilingualism, discourse and conversational analysis, and lexicography.  She teaches courses on introductory linguistics, language and culture, and language and gender.
