  • learn how Web 2.0 tools can be applied for 21st Century Learning.
  • become familiar with Web 2.0 tools through activities.

Introduction:
This session will introduce Web 2.0, demonstrate use of a variety of Web 2.0 tools and provide opportunities to use Web 2.0 tools in educational settings.

  • Bubbl.us: Concept Mapping
  • Google Earth
  • Flickr: young people today share all kinds of information. These are two of the tools available.
  • Bookmarking: del.icio.us - Diigo: Social Bookmarking and collaborative highlighting and commenting.
  • Wordle: generate “word clouds” from text you paste in a text box on this site.
  • Zoho Show: upload PowerPoint presentations and share on one computer.
  • Google Docs: Collaborative word-processor and document sharing site.
  • Google Reader: RSS Feeds
  • Classroom 2.0: Elementary
  • Skype: one way to videoconference.
  • Session Wiki for Educational Leadership Doctoral Class
