Theme 3: Cultural Focus
Country or Continent
Each team selects a theme. They create four versions to present via videoconferencing; one auditory, one graphic, one dramatic enactment, one text description. Groups share their theme using vc stations. Participants from remote stations guess what the theme item is. They may ask yes/no questions only.

Explore the mediated message for communicating concepts:
Does the sequence affect the message?
Does the medium affect the message?
What works and what doesn't?
Group discussion of questions posed above.
Brainstorm other videoconferencing activities that would utilize this media in educational settings.
The following day groups will plan activities to try in class to explore further.
