Today's MOO sessions will have assigned discussion topics dealing with instructional strategies for learning communities and online synchronous projects using videoconferencing. Save your MOO log on your electronic journal disk by selecting log to file from the menu bar in Mudwin after you connect.

Open Mudwin software and log on to Elmoondo as your character or as a
guest (see activity 2 worksheet from day 2).
After you log on to
Elmoondo, you can change your character name by typing: @rename
(your
character) to (new character name).
Example: @rename teacher1 to
Yogibear
Before we begin, type a description
for your new character. @describe me as (write the sentence
starting with a capital letter).
Eexample: @describe me as A funny looking bear with a bouncing walk and a
happy voice. Now press return and then test your description by typing:
look (and your character name): look Yogibear
- Find the ZPD Room and sit at a designated table assigned by instructor.
- To read the board type: look blackboard
- To write a comment on the blackboard type: writeb (type your comment)
- To erase a comment on the blackboard type: eraseb (line #)
- Each table will post comments on the boakboard for the topics selected.
