The purpose of this session is to introduce ways in which you can use videoconferencing in an educational setting. Additionally, uses of MOOS and MUDs can be explored as ways of envisioning remote collaborative groups in a distance learning setting. Moo Command Sheet for reference.

_____ Go to the Global Schoolnet website and read the information on videoconferencing. Record in writing below your initial impressions of what you read.
_____ Participate in the mock videoconference activity.
_____ Write a one page reflection on your videoconferencing experience in your electronic journal.
_____ After observing the demonstration of the Pepperdine University MOO, do a search on the Internet of sites that offer MOO environments for learning. Complete the chart below recording what you found:
