| Much of your time will
be spent collaborating with your instructor and team mates. Do not limit yourself just to
communicating with your instructor and teamates. The world is open to you with this new
technology and your role as a teacher can really be broadened as you start interacting
with educators from around the world. Some suggestions:
- Attend regular ILAST Tapped In
sessions. The calendar
feature allows you to know in advance what events are upcoming.
- Join an educational newsgroup. Newsgroups are wonderful environments
in which to collaborate with fellow educators. They have even been helpful in finding
solutions for classroom problems whether it is curriculum or management.
- Create an EPals connection with
another classroom in this country or another. Brings the world outside your school into
sharper focus for your students.
- Contribute to the ILAST bulletin boards on CTAP online.
- Become involved with a educational Listserv.
