Social Science Research Methods 1.0: A computerized multimedia interactive module

The aim of this HyperCard multimedia interactive program (still under development) is to introduce users to conceptual issues in social science research. The program utilizes digitized audio, video, and interactivity to present the material. The module introduces basic social science research methodologies such as experimental, observational, survey, archival, case study, and action research. The module also presents narratives, examples, and questions for class/group discussion. Outside the classroom, users may explore the module at their own pace. The objective is use the module as a computerized interactive teaching tool that reinforces course concepts and stimulates critical thinking.
