VSAR 303; Final Hands on Quiz

 

 

Before Class:

 

  1.  Create a 1:00 second sequence using either media from the FCP Book or from you own footage. Use audio only if it is linked to the clip.

 

 

In Class, you will be tested by Kristine and Tristan:

 

  1. Import a music clip into FCP. Make sure to export/import as 48 khz.

 

 

  1. Take a clip within the sequence and trim it using the ripple tool. (Ch.4)

 

  1. Add two different transitions anywhere on the sequence. Change the length of those transitions. (Ch.10)

 

  1. Select three consecutive clips within the sequence. Change the audio levels on all three to different levels. One set at -12db, another at 5db, and the other at -2db. Then set all to the same level using attributes. (Ch.11)

 

 

  1. Add an audio transition between any audio clips. (Ch.10)

 

 

  1.  Take the imported music clip and lay it on audio track 3 and 4, then change the audio level to -5db and a pan of -2. (Ch.11)

 

 

  1. Include a title with your name, course title, and date. (Ch.15)

 

 

  1. Take a clip in the sequence and desaturate it. (Ch.13)

 

 

  1. Within the sequence, create a J-cut or an L-cut edit, which ever makes more sense. You might have use linking and unlinking.

 

 

  1.  Select a clip and slow the motion speed to 25% (Ch.12)
