Socorro & Magdalena, NM
As I was heading back towards home after Carrizozo, time was getting limited and thus I was running out of time to explore. Socorro and Magdalena both, though, looked like they might be worth spending a little more time.

Downtown Socorro had many well-preserved buildings, and a very nice public square. |

| Magdalena was a small ranch and mining town, with active ranches around the area and some mines that appeared to be still active. Enough activity to support a couple of businesses. |
