Later 1950's (part 1)

The following are various pictures from some time after about 1954.  Most of these were undated, so I'm using my best guess based on where they were taken and if they were taken before my parents divorced in 1960.

This first is of my mother and me playing Chinese checkers.  This was taken in our first house, and I'm guessing it was when I was 8 or 9 (i.e., about 1956)
This appears to be a school picture, and was labeled "Fall 1955" (I would have been 7 or 8)
This was taken at the school crossing -- for some reason, mother is making sure that I go to school!

We lived across the street from our grammar school.  I believe the Buick in the picture is a '57, so I would have been at least 9.

Note the 'Skinner' truck -- we had milk delivery to the house in those days. AND, 6 cent cokes at that drug store!

This picture was taken on a construction site.  In the later 50's my father had a contract to install the plumbing for a new subdivision, and we kids "worked" for him.  Being the youngest, I suspect I was more of a bother than a help (since I couldn't tell a Crescent wrench from a pair of pliers).
