California Coastal
The definition of 'California Coastal' here is somewhat broad. I'm clearly including areas on or close to the coast, but will also be including areas that are fairly inland but are considered to be within the Coast Ranges of mountains -- thus this can include locations that may be 30 to 40 miles inland from the coast. One way to think of the geography of these pages is these pages cover everything west of the Central Valley; another way is to consider these pages as including everything that is along or near California Route 1 or US 101. Clearly San Francisco and Los Angeles would fall into this category, but due to their sizes they are listed separately.
These pages are among the least developed webpages. In particular, there are quite a few pictures to add of the area around the Marin and Sonoma county coasts north of SF and further around Morro Bay. Pages are organized here by region.
