Using the Timeline View, you can then cut the shots down to the exact length desired.
- Just position the playhead where you want to have a clip end and go to Edit > Split Video Clip at Playhead, or APPLE + T. This will cut the clip in two.
- Then select the part of the clip you do not want, press DELETE, and the clips will fall into place without the unwanted footage.
