The Liberal Studies Department at California State University San Marcos is recruiting for a part-time lecturer to teach the following undergraduate upper division level course: LBST 375 Urban Change and Ethnicity Cal State San Marcos has an immediate need for an instructor for an upper division course entitled “World Regional Geography: Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Enhanced.” Minimum qualifications are a Master’s Degree in a related field and substantial experience with GIS. The first class meets on Wednesday, August 29 from 5:30-8:15 at our San Marcos campus, and continues to meet each Wednesday through December 5. Course Description: “Enhanced survey of major world regions and their major countries using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) technology. Study of specific geographical circumstances and geographical concepts, including an emphasis on physical geography.
