Our
Mission
The ASI Women’s Center at
Cal State University San Marcos is dedicated to equality and social
justice. We educate, empower, and advocate on behalf of women, men, and
individuals of diverse gender and sexual identities. Through our
collective efforts, we strive to promote a greater understanding of the role
and impact of gender and sexuality in individual lives, diverse communities,
and global society.
We
will meet these challenges by supporting students, staff, faculty, and
alumni through:

Creating a safe and supportive environment

Educating the campus community

Developing and implementing meaningful programming

Serving as a bridge to campus and community resources

Offering supportive and solution-focused counseling and referrals

Providing general information on a variety of topics that impact the
lives of women, men, and individuals of diverse gender and sexual
identities
