  • ASI is a not-for-profit student run auxiliary. ASI is Governed by a student Board of Directors who are elected each year by the student body of Cal State San Marcos. In addition, ASI is the officially recognized voice of the students. ASI representatives continually advocate for student issues.

Here is a peek at what we have to offer:
    • Programs: We offer a wide range of programs including noontime concerts, an annual Masquerade Ball, Homecoming activities, famous speakers, BBQs, Cultural festivities, Student Leadership Awards night...and more!
    • Sports: Currently there are five competitive club sport programs which include man and women's soccer, volleyball and two co-ed surf teams. ASI also offers different recreational classes and activities including yoga, flag football, etc.
    • Services: Come into the ASI office and purchase discount amusement park tickets, discount movie tickets, NCTD Buss Passes, 5 cent copies, stamps, and more! ASI also operates a child care center which offers discount childcare to student parents.
    • Committee membership: Ever wonder who makes the decision to raise fees, who picks the class schedule, who decides what buildings to build? Well, now you can be a part of the process. Almost all university committees (who make important decisions abut your campus community) have a spot for a student representative. After applying for a committee seat, ASI will place you on a committee of your interest. ASI also has committees of their own, which are run by entire boards of students; covering Campus Pride issues, Communications, External Affairs, etc.
