The ASI Board of Directors is comprised of 16 elected members who serve as executive officers and college representatives. The mission of Associated Students Inc. is to serve, engage, and empower students. ASI is the official voice to express student opinions, foster awareness of student issues, protect the rights and interests of the students, and create programs and encourage a campus climate that meets the educational, social, and cultural well-being of students. The board is elected each spring and serves a one-year term beginning in May. The ASI Board of Directors are active participants in the Shared Governance of Cal State University San Marcos and direct all aspects of the corporation.
