Welcome to the American Language and Culture Institute (ALCI) at
California State University San Marcos (CSUSM)! If you are looking for
an academic program, you will find excellent English language
instruction on a beautiful, new, safe campus in sunny Southern
California. We offer
Conditional Admission and
TOEFL waiver for
students who want to attend CSUSM.
The ALCI also offers
Semester Abroad
programs for international university students. Semester Abroad
students who have a high level of English may enroll in university
classes for credit.
If you are looking for a short-term group program for fun in the sun, our American Culture Experience offers language travel programs that combine English instruction and excursions to Southern California tourist attractions. We welcome groups of English teachers who want to improve their teaching skills to our Teacher Training programs. We also customize programs for groups with special interests.
