As a program within Learning Assistance
Services, the Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) is the
University’s first access and equity program. It exists to serve
low-income, first-generation college students, particularly
those who are underrepresented in the CSU. An array of support
services are available to EOP students to assist them in making
the most of their educational opportunities. EOP grants are also
available to those students who are eligible through financial
aid. In order to be considered for admission into EOP,
students must submit an EOP application and income verification
form to the EOP office, as well as a separate University
application to the Office of Admissions. All three forms must
be completed before a student can be reviewed for admission to
EOP. Applications are available online at
CSUMentor, the Cal State San
Marcos EOP
Office, the Cal State San Marcos
Office of Admissions,
local community colleges, and high schools. |
