I can be e-mailed at "kelle018@csusm.edu". This looks as if it's going to be like taking two couses in one. Do we get a grade for our ability to take a course on-line successfully? Will we all be sent an E-mail acknowledging that you know we are in your class? Thanks, Katherine

Therese Baker tbaker@mailhost1.csusm.edu responded:

Dear SOC311 Class: I have read your responses to the General Salon. A few of you are using student e-mail addresses when you told me to use another address (V. Castelo: which do you prefer to use?). I want to have only one address per student. One student asked me if they could submit responses to a monday salon by Tuesday evening. The answer is yes. This may be a bit hard to do, and we may have computer problems at various points, but hang in there and we should be able to work it out. Glad that you are enthusiastic. I am also. One other thing. No paper assignments have been developed yet. So those should be empty. If you are getting some weird code, you should be getting nothing. I'll let you know when the first paper assignment will be up. Therese Baker
