Why I joined Alpha Chi:
|
"I have grown up in the San
Diego area all my life and after attending Mira Costa college, I decided
to go to CSUSM. I felt like I missed out on the college experience since I
still lived at home and was a transfer student. I also really wanted to
meet people and be involved in not only the school, but the community.
Most of all, I wanted to make friends I would have for life. People who I
would trust and count on."
|
|
Inspiration:
|
"Alpha Chi means I always have
someone to turn to. It means I always have someone to trust and someone to
count on. It means that I have more than just a group of friends. I have
sisters. Sisters who are not only a blast to hang out with, but who are
always going to be there when I need them. Alpha Chi makes me a better
person. It means early morning philanthropy and late night fun. It means
mixers, formals, and, of course, bonding."

Favorite Alpha Chi
Memory:
|
"I
have so many good memories its hard to pick a favorite. One of my
favorites was when we found out who our Big's were. It was a fun week full
of mystery. At the end, we found out on Revealing day!!! I was so anxious
and excited! I am so happy she is my Big Sis. I also want to mention
Retreat: both New Member and the most recent. Both were really fun and I
got to know my sisters even more."

|
Hobbies:
|
"I just got into scrap
booking. I also like to hang out with my sisters, go to the movies,
bowling, and I love working with children."

Favorite Quote:
|
"Sisterhood is many things. It's a warm smile on a cold and rainy day, a
friendly hug, a cheerful hello...It's all that a good and lasting
friendship is, only better. It's treasured. It's sacred. It's knowing
that there will always be someone there for you. It's dreams shared, and
goals achieved. It's counting on others and being counted on. It is
real."
